Casa Sant’Orsola’s Prosecco Millesimato D.O.C. Extra Dry Luxury is the best-selling Prosecco DOC in Italy

Casa Sant’Orsola’s Prosecco Millesimato D.O.C. Extra Dry Luxury is the best-selling Prosecco DOC in Italy.
Brands Award 2022, organized by GDOWEEK, MARK UP, and Gruppo Editoriale Tecniche Nuove, which concluded on the evening of July 7, 2022, saw all consumer goods currently on the market compete against each other.
Casa Sant’Orsola’s Prosecco Millesimato D.O.C. Extra Dry Luxury emerged as the best-selling product in the global “performance for existing product” ranking, in the Alcoholic Beverages and Beers category.
Made from grapes of the Glera variety, it satisfies the demands of the most discerning consumers with its fine and persistent perlage, intense aromatic profile, and dry, pleasantly fruity flavor.
The brand selection criteria are objective and based on IRI Italia sales data. The rankings take into account figures recorded during 2021, relating to market share growth and value sales from Hypermarkets, Supermarkets, and Large-Scale Retail. Additionally, the nominated products are subsequently subjected to consumer opinion and a jury composed of buyers and purchasing directors from Organized Distribution.
This result is a recognition of the strategic choices and innovation in the production and marketing of quality wines, contributing to the overall growth of Casa Sant’Orsola and Fratelli Martini SpA.

Fratelli Martini SpA, known in Italy for the Casa Sant’Orsola brand and internationally as CANTI, is among the top 10 Italian wine companies by turnover. Founded in 1947 by Secondo Martini, it is currently led by Gianni Martini and the third generation, Eleonora Martini, who strongly believe that only the combination of tradition and innovation can produce successful and distinctive wines and sparkling wines within an increasingly standardized and globalized market segment.
